In this session, the Workforce Planning Exchange will learn from members and guest thought leaders about the process of building a skill-based workforce planning model, addressing critical skill gaps with talent development initiatives, and engineering a successful Internal Talent Marketplace.
Guiding Questions include:
- How well do you understand skills inside the org and the gaps that exist (now and future)? How are you cataloging skills in the organization (approaches, tools, etc.)
- How and when are we addressing skill gaps through development via upskilling, reskilling, newskilling? (e.g., broad, focused, mix, etc.)
- What is the current state of, and some good examples of, Internal Talent Marketplaces?
Co-facilitated by i4cp Member Leaders Mike LeBrun, Senior Manager HR Strategy & Insights at Toyota North America, and Bryan Seaford, Talent Consultant at Chik-fil-A, this Exchange community group supports Workforce Planning leaders to be a strategic and influential partner to the business by leveraging best processes, trends, and technology to scale next practices.
