Connected Culture - Connectivity & Collaboration Community

The task of fostering a culture never ends, but when grounded in network science, leaders can design and implement interventions that help their organizations adapt, grow, and thrive in new and powerful ways. Organizational Network Analysis (ONA), combined with cultural values data, provides unique insights into the network-based nature of each organization’s culture. Senior HR and business leaders need a clear understanding of their cultural subnetworks, a willingness to identify and engage with informal influencers, a sense of the absorption rate of new priorities and behaviors, an ability to defuse pockets of tension, and a profound awareness of emotional responses.

Throughout 2023, the Connectivity & Collaboration Community will delve into the five outcomes critical for connected work. In our last session, members will build on our curriculum and learn about the fifth outcome of connected work: connected culture.

Featuring: Michael Arena, Author of Adaptive Space; Kevin Oakes, CEO of i4cp; and Carin Taylor, Chief Diversity Officer at Workday

  • Why culture is driven by emotional engagement and cultural tension can be productive if managed well
  • How the quality of connections and relationships may provide the key to inclusion, belonging, and empowering diversity.
