At our July meeting, our newly appointed Member Co-Chair, Brenda Sugrue of EY and Gina Jeneroux of BMO Financial Group led a conversation on FutureSkilling. We addressed experiences with:

  • FutureSkilling as a new mindset: how do we prepare employees for success in areas not even identified yet?
  • FutureSkilling strategy
  • Identifying critical FutureSkilling capabilities, such as resilience, agility, and innovation.
  • Making FutureSkilling continuous and sustainable, intertwined with the organization’s purpose, culture, and goals
  • Taking FutureSkilling beyond training and development efforts

This continues the examination of strategic approaches to skills/capabilities that began with the presentation by Cameron Hedrick of Citi on the multi-year plan for a Skills Architecture.
