In this session, we discussed:
1. The latest thinking in creating opportunities for employees to connect.
After two years of dealing with the pandemic, organizations welcome employees back to the office and determine how much flexibility they will entertain going forward. One important and overlooked issue is how to get employees to reconnect with the company? This has an important and often overlooked impact on retention and engagement.
2. Environment, Social, Corporate Governance (ESG) and the HR Function
Key ESG HR issues concern how a company engages with its workforce, with a strong focus on a culture incorporating inclusion and diversity, and how it looks at issues of pay and equality. While the spotlight has been on environmental issues so far, the coronavirus pandemic has turned the focus firmly on the ‘S’ in ESG, with Covid-19 having the greatest impact on people and employment. We’ll also focus on relevant ESG measures for short- and long-term incentive plans.
