DEI implications from The Talent Imperative Study

At the May virtual meeting we spent the first hour reviewing the DEI implications from the upcoming i4cp/Fortune Talent Imperative study. In the second hour, we dove into the findings related to accountability for DEI in that study, which we discussed in light of our focus on maintaining momentum in driving DEI goals. We covered:

  1. The merits of compensating to drive DEI results/goals. Should they be a base requirement for leadership positions? Are we training/supporting leaders to achieve those goals?
  2. What is your organization’s current state? Assess how each of our board members is holding key leaders accountable. Are there any key themes? Are only top leaders held accountable? Are they accountable for the “what” and the “how” (leadership behaviors)?
  3. Future state. What’s the goal of attaining accountability in our organizations? What does ideal look like?
  4. What are the challenges in getting to the ideal state? Best practices to address?
This meeting is exclusively for members of the Chief Diversity Officer Board. If you'd like to participate, please contact us to see if you qualify. If you are an i4cp member, please log in to access the registration/meeting details.
