What platform is the conference on?
The conference is hosted on Cvent Events and can be accessed on your web browser.
Can I access the conference platform early?
Yes, and we encourage you to do so! Please make sure to set up your conference profile early to:
- Ensure you are able to log in without difficulty
- Search or browse the attendee list to start making connections
- Review the agenda and save your sessions of interest
Who should attend Next Practices Now?
The conference is designed for senior-level HR, talent, learning, and diversity decision-makers from every industry and government sector. However, the conference is also a good opportunity for early-career HR professionals, as well as business leaders outside HR.
Why can't vendors or consultants attend?
To maintain a collaborative environment where attendees can talk openly about their business challenges, we maintain a strict practitioner-only policy. This is cited by many attendees as one of their favorite aspects of the conference. This holds for both the in-person and virtual events.
How much does the conference cost?

Do I receive a discount if I sign up for both the 2021 virtual conference and 2022 in-person conference at the same time?
Yes, if you sign up and pay at the same time for both events, you'll receive an $100 USD discount. We are unable to offer this discount if you sign up for one and then opt to sign up for the other at a later date. Spaced a little over four months apart, we encourage you to attend both the virtual and in-person events; they offer different experiences and will present new ideas in different ways. Are group rates or combination packages available?
Yes, group rates are available for both the 2021 virtual conference and 2022 in-person conference (please note that group rates for the in-person event don't technically go into account until after our July 31, 2021 early bird deadline as the individual rates are actually better until then). Further, if you want to bring your team with you to both conferences, we have some helpful combination packages available. Please contact us for group and combo rates.
Can I become a member to get the member rate?
i4cp membership requires an annual, enterprise-wide subscription. We do not offer individual memberships. If you're interested in having your organization become an i4cp member, please contact us.
What does the in-person 2022 conference fee include?
If you're registered to attend the 2022 in-person conference, your pass includes attendance to all general sessions, breakfasts, lunches and evening social events. In short, we got you covered!
What isn't included?
Your hotel room is not included in the price. The pre-conference workshop is an additional $795/person. Additionally, the Monday Board meetings are invitation only and limited to paying members of each group.
I'm an i4cp member but can't attend the virtual conference. Am I able to watch the recordings?
The i4cp 2021 Conference recordings will be available exclusively to event attendees until early 2022.
Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?
Yes, we are always happy to transfer your registration to someone else. We'll need their name, email, job title, and phone number to make the change.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative fee; cancellations for the virtual conference received after October 1, 2021 will not be refunded, and cancellations received after February 11, 2022 for the in-person event will not be refunded. We are always happy to transfer your registration to a colleague.
